Kitchen stuff

When I said we travel with very little stuff, I failed to mention that we rent fully-furnished apartments. So we don't have to bring our furniture or bed linens or pots and pans or dishes.

Still, I have learned that there are a few kitchen supplies I really, really miss if I don't bring them along. And not necessarily the ones I would have guessed.



We missed our colander so much when we lived in Romania that David's brother spent $50 to mail this very one to us.

And this time around we should have brought good knives. Our furnished kitchen has no knives! We used a Swiss army knife until we were able to buy some.
