Hundred Legs

On a long and leisurely walk by the river Sunday morning, Isaac explained that he had learned a very cool word at school: stonoga. Sto means "hundred" and noga means "leg." Centipede!

A few minutes later we found one at the side of the path, the first one we've ever seen here. A great nature find, and linguistic insurance that we won't forget that word.
